In 2018, York Archaeology, working with the National Trust, excavated two small trenches over the remains of Clumber Mansion in Nottinghamshire.

We partnered with the Wellow Schoolroom group to investigate George Dyke, a triangular earthwork around the village.
Heritage in Mind
Heritage in Mind were workshops for residents in the Beeston, Attenborough, and Chilwell areas that promoted mental health and wellbeing.
Southwell Burgage
The Southwell Burgage Revealed Project took place in 2015 and 2016, when York Archaeology was commissioned by the Southwell Community Archaeology Group.
Moor Pond Wood
Between 2001 and 2023, York Archaeology worked with the Friends of Moor Pond Wood to explore the water system and cotton mills built by the Robinson family in the 1770s.
